sg29651
So I got the po171 code and started idling rough. I noticed the intake tube that connects to the airport was disconnected, so I put that back together and nothing changed so I checked out the maf. It was all black from road debris and whatever else so I bought that cleaner spray and it cleaned it I guess. The bulb is still mostly black with a hint of orange. Needless to say it still runs like shit. How do you know when a maf is bad or could it be an o2 sensor?

MaStaMooN
The bulb is the IAT sensor... the MAF wires are inside that tube. Check those. Jon - vBGarage Profile

apexi
The factory service manual makes no mention of the oxygen sensors contributing to p0171. The general consensus after a little searching is that you probably have a vacuum hose disconnected somewhere, or a leak in the intake after the maf sensor. malvic
The rubber seal on my MAF broke .... that caused the code. Check that as well.
