SMOG in a high elevation at stage 2 (6,000+ ft.)

I have a custom stage 2 accessport map that I got from Infamous when I lived in the Southern California area. I have a Perrin single cat downpipe but I have always passed smog in so cal as long as the tech doesnt do a visual inspection.

I moved up to South Lake Tahoe (6,000+ elevation) about a month ago and my mpg has gone from 23 down to 15 and it smells like I am running really rich. Since I dont need to worry about visual inspection, should I worry more about finding someone to tune my car for the higher elevation or just track down a stock downpipe and reset the accessport to stock and then swap everything back after smog?

How long are you staying in south lake? I'd suggest getting an e-tune as that will truly account for where you are and your driving style. It doesn't take long and is relatively easy especially since you have an accessport. Talk to cryo about an etune. I am running a tune from him right now and love it!

I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
