oachs83 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Looking to get an oil cooler for my 2008 Legacy 2.5 GT automatic. I found part number 21311AA051. Some sites say the part will fit but on a couple sites the number and part comes up but when I go to put in the year, make, and model the site says it does not fit my car? Which one is it? It looks like what I need. Is part number 21311AA051 the oil cooler I need for my car? Thank You
05legacysp Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 It looks to me like it will fit. My guess is that the sites that say it won't fit don't sell many legacy gt parts. I've found on on a few sites that only show figment for WRX and sti... But sites that show it'll fit on a legacy seem to suggest it'll fit yours.

apexi Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 I thought the GT's had an oil cooler between the oil filter and engine block?
Max Capacity Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Did you see the list price on that thing on the Amazon site... 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Engine Build - Click Here
oachs83 Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 Did you see the list price on that thing on the Amazon site... Yeah, it's pretty comical
oachs83 Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 I thought the GT's had an oil cooler between the oil filter and engine block? Yup, that picture in the link is exactly what it looks like. The oil filter screws up onto it. Those hard lines you see on the cooler is where the coolant hoses attach.
