Sometimes I do get slammed with 50-100 emails so I appreciate your patience while waiting for a reply from me.

If you can't reach me and want to place your deposit for a Subie that I have quoted for you, David O'Berto can take your deposit and place your custom order. He's my boss. Otherwise, I'm your guy for pretty much anything new Subie related. I have a 2015 WRX Limited 6MT GBS. Are there hidden charges in my quote?

No! The forum price that I quote for you has all of your charges clearly stated. Destination & Delivery (D&D) charges from SOA are included in your MSRP, Invoice Price and Your Forum Price when I send quotes. We have a $489 dealer fee and there are no additional fees that Heuberger charges. It is Heuberger Motors' policy not to pre-install items such as window etching, window tints, clear bras, pin stripes, protection packages and other such items to your vehicle. We do offer these products and services and they all have their merits. We just think it should be up to you, not the store, to decide what you need on your new car. Please keep this in mind as you receive other quotes. Many times these items are mentioned, but in small print, with a very large additional cost to you. We strive to give the finest service and accurate pricing with no hidden charges.

 

Can you give me my total price with tax?

I cannot. Each state collects tax differently and tax laws are changing all the time. I’m not licensed or trained to know what and how each state collects their taxes. If you know your sales tax rate, then just add that to the forum price, dealer fee and shipping quote (if you're planning on shipping it) that I gave you and you'll have your total! The finance dept will be able to calculate your total with taxes for you once it comes time to finalize your purchase paperwork.

 

Can you give me my total price with tag, license, and registration fees?

I cannot. We do not collect or charge those fees for any state and they can differ for many reasons (special plates, military, etc). You will have to contact your local DMV to get that info.

 

Can I reserve my new car with a deposit or something?

Yes! If you would like to secure an in-stock, in-transit or custom order Subie in your name now, I can take a $1000 deposit that we will put towards the price of your vehicle. You can place this deposit over the phone by calling me at 719-866-6411 with your credit card number. This will take the car off the market to ensure that nobody else can buy, drive, or even drool over your brand new Subie before you accept delivery! Please be advised that until then, due to the high-volume sales nature of our store, anyone else can reserve, buy, or lease it at any time - just like you can. If you choose to finance your vehicle in its entirety, we can refund your deposit after purchase. I will send you a confirmation email of your deposit amount, complete vehicle details and your forum member pricing.

 

Is my deposit refundable if I can't buy my car for any reason?

*If your car is on order and has not yet arrived at Heuberger Motors, your deposit will be refunded when someone takes over your custom order.

*If your custom ordered car has arrived at Heuberger Motors, your deposit will not be refunded.

 

Why do you need my complete address with my quote request?

So that I can get you a shipping quote to have your new Subie delivered right to your house!

 

Do I pay taxes for Colorado or my own state?

You pay taxes based on the address that you use to register/purchase your new Subie.

 

Would it be possible for me to ask you to not remove the pre-delivery plastics that come on the car once it arrives at your dealership?

You can ask, but we cannot make that happen. The plastics that cover your Subie in transit from the manufacturer to us must be removed as soon as your Subie arrives off the truck so that it can be thoroughly inspected for any damages that may have occurred in transport to us.

About 2 months.

Once I receive all of the required items from you, it generally takes about 2-3 weeks for you to receive it once it arrives here. This is based on many factors and may take more or less time.

 

Can I stop by the store?

Yes! If you would like to check out our inventory in person, please don't hesitate to contact me via email joshm@hmtrs.com) or by phone (office 719-866-6411 or cell (719) 331-4644 to schedule an appointment. Our inventory is massive and can take 20+ minutes to find and pull a specific car. By setting an appointment, I can get your car or a similar one ready for your arrival and minimize your wait time!

 

What if I have a trade-in?

If you have a trade-in and would like an approximate figure on what your trade-in's value would be before you visit our store, we need the following information to get you an approximate appraisal:

 

- Year, Make, and Model:

- Trim Level (Premium, Limited, GSR, etc):

- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN; for Carfax Report):

- Number of Cylinders:

- Exact Milage:

- Body Color:

- Interior Color:

- Answers to the following:

- Does it have Air Conditioning? Does it work?

- Does it have Power Seats? Does it work?

- Does it have an Adjustable Steering Wheel? Does it work?

- Does it have a Stereo System? Does it work?

- Does it have Power Door Locks? Does it work?

- Does it have a Cloth or Leather Interior? Is it damaged?

- Does it have Cruise Control? Does it work?

- Does it have Power Windows? Does it work?

- Does it have a Sunroof? Does it work?

- Does it have a Navigation System? Does it work?

- Does it have an Electronic Defroster? Does it work?

- Does it have Power Steering? Does it work?

- Does it have Power Brakes? Does it work?

- Does it have Alloy Wheels or does it have Steel Wheels with Hub Caps?

- Does it have an Automatic Transmission? Does it work?

- Is the vehicle FWD (Front Wheel Drive), RWD (Rear Wheel Drive), 4WD (Four Wheel Drive), or AWD (All Wheel Drive)?

- Has it ever been involved in an accident or insurance claim? If so, please explain where on the car and the severity of the damage and if it has been fixed.

- Has it ever had hail damage? If so, please explain where on the car and the severity of the damage and if it has been fixed.

- Does any of the glass have any damage? If so, please explain where on the car and the severity of the damage.

- How old are the tires? How many miles on them?

- Are any of the Check Engine/Warning Lights on or flashing while driving? Which ones?

- Does the car have any modifications?

- Do you have all the keys that the car came with from the factory?

- On a scale of 1-10 (1 being the worst, 10 being the best) please rate the condition of the exterior.

- On a scale of 1-10 (1 being the worst, 10 being the best) please rate the condition of the interior.

- Do you own the vehicle free and clear? Are you still financing the trade-in - and if so, how much do you still owe? Or are you leasing the vehicle?

 

I live in another state. How do I get my trade in vehicle to you?

We can arrange shipping for you to have your trade vehicle shipped to us, then complete your purchase paperwork via FEDEX and then ship your new Subie to you OR you can drive your trade vehicle to us, do your purchase paperwork and drive your new Subie home. Most customers that live a few states away choose to sell their vehicles privately to avoid the hassle and cost of driving their trade in to us or shipping it to us. Sometimes it works out to do it and sometimes it doesn't.

 

What do you need from me to complete my purchase once my Subie arrives?

I will send you the following list via email when your new Subaru arrives. PLEASE DO NOT complete these items until you receive the email:

 

1. Text (719) 331-4644 or email (johsm@hmtrs.com) to me clear photos of the front and back of your driver’s license (and your co-signer’s if you have one).

 

2. Text (719) 331-4644 or email (joshm@hmtrs.com) to me clear photos of the front and back of your current valid insurance card from one of your current vehicles.

 

3. Complete the application at http://www.bestbuysubaru.com/financing/privacy-notice.htm On the 3rd page, there is an option for a co-signer, if you have one. Please let me know who you want listed as the primary driver, this person will need to fill out the application first, then the other will fill out the 2nd section.

· If you will be paying cash, this information will not be submitted to any finance companies. It will only be used to verify your information in the credit check, OFAC and RED FLAG systems and to verify your identity and to check for check fraud alerts with the credit check systems.

 

4. Please tell me how much (if any) additional down-payment you want to do and what is your desired term length for financing or leasing?

 

5. Are we shipping your Subie to you or are you coming to pick it up?

· If we will be shipping your Subie to you, then once I receive all of this information, I will submit your packet to the remote finance office and they will call you in 2-3 business days to finalize your paperwork and get it sent out to you via FEDEX for your signatures. Once we receive your paperwork back from you signed and completed, I will then submit a request for your vehicle to be picked up by the shipping company. They generally pick-up vehicles within 5-7 business days after receiving the request and deliver 3-5 business days after that. This is just a general rule, so it may take longer based on what other vehicles they have going your direction. They should notify you before delivery so that you can be available to receive it. Please expect this process to take approx. 2-3 week for you to get your Subaru from the time your paperwork is submitted to finance.

 

· If you will be coming to pick up your Subaru, please let me know the date and time you wish to arrive BEFORE BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT, so I can check with the driver coordinator for availability. We do offer courtesy customer pickup from the Colorado Springs or Denver Airports Monday through Friday, 9am-2pm. We will then complete your purchase paperwork when you arrive to Heuberger.

 

6. Please confirm if there are additional items that you would like added to your vehicle through the Parts/Service dept such as underspoilers, sunshade, side window deflectors, etc.

 

7. Do you want your car washed before you come to pick it up?

 

8. Do you want clear mask and/or tint put on before you come to pick it up?

 

What happens after I provide those things?

If we will be shipping your vehicle to you, then once I receive the above items, I will submit your packet to the remote finance office and they will call you in 2-3 business days to finalize your paperwork and get it sent out to you via FEDEX for your signatures.

If you plan to pick up your new Subie in person, then all of your paperwork will be ready to go for you when you get here. You and I will sign a few documents together and then you'll sign the remaining documents with the finance dept. You will not be contacted by the finance dept ahead of time.

 

If I'm having my Subie shipped, when does that happen?

Once we receive your purchase paperwork back from you signed and completed, I will then submit a request for your vehicle to be picked up by the shipping company. They generally pick-up vehicles within 5-7 business days after receiving the request and deliver 3-5 business days after that. They should notify you before delivery so that you can be available to receive it.

 

Why can't my Subie be shipped directly to me from Subaru?

Your Subaru must be inspected and checked in by an authorized Subaru dealership before it can be sold to you. Once it arrives here, we can do your purchase paperwork via FEDEX and then ship your new Subie to you or you can drive in or fly in to pick it up.

 

Is my new Subie shipped to my house or somewhere else?

It's shipped right to your house after your purchase paperwork is completed! Unless your road doesn't allow for a big transport truck, and in that case, you can arrange with the delivery driver to meet elsewhere when he calls you to arrange delivery. It generally takes about 2 1/2 weeks for you to get your car after it arrives here. The paperwork process itself generally takes just a few days. Then we put in the request for the transport company to pick it up. They generally pick it up 5-7 business days later and then it's to you 3-5 business days after that (depending on where you are).

 

I want to come pick up my Subie but I live in another state. Can you pick me up at the airport?

Yes! If you plan to pick it up, please let me know BEFORE booking your ticket of the date and time you wish to fly in so I can be sure a driver can pick you up at the airport. As a general rule, our drivers can pick up customers at the Colorado Springs or Denver airports, Monday-Friday, 9am-2pm.

 

Can your finance dept provide me with finance or lease options?

Yes! When it comes time to complete your purchase paperwork, our finance dept would be happy to assist you with your options for paying for your new Subie. Our finance dept works with over 65 lenders nationwide to provide you with the best rates and terms available! Because we are the nation’s largest volume Subaru dealership, our finance dept is able to negotiate with the banks on your behalf to get you a great deal when it comes to financing or leasing your new Subie! We encourage you to consider allowing us to arrange your financing, as we can ALWAYS match or beat your rate! I’ve bought my car from you. Now how do I register it?

You will receive a 60 day temp tag to use while waiting for the necessary documents to be processed so that you can register your vehicle. Please check your local Motor Vehicle Depts website to see what their requirements are for registering a vehicle from out-of-state (if purchasing outside of CO). Do you need to go get a smog check? Will they notify you by email, snail mail or by phone? These things vary state to state. If your state requires that you register your vehicle in less than 60 days, please contact our titles dept at 719-475-1920 to let them know. Otherwise, we will either send you the MSO (Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin) or we will send that and your taxes paid to your DMV, in approximately 4-6 weeks. The cost of your plates, registration and any other fees that your DMV collects are not included in your vehicle purchase price. Those fees will be due when you register your vehicle. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Heuberger titles dept at 719-475-1920.
