2008 NA 2.0 suspension upgrades

Hey guys, i recently started taking my 2008 NA legacy to the track, my car is totally stock, i was wondering what reasonable upgrades i can do suspension wise for better handling and cornering. I dont want to stiffen up my daily ride too much doh, as is it rides smooth as ever. I was considering either bilstein struts or koni struts w/ lowering springs.

Tires before anything. A stock car with great tires (bridgestone RE-71R) will always be faster than one with suspension mods and no tires. Assuming you have some good tire, the Konis/springs and a good alignment is the next step.
