maxpower105 Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 I found a set of sti springs fro 07 for 200 bucks, will they fit my 08 spec b? I cannot find comparison chart.
Moderators BarManBean Posted May 24, 2015 Moderators Posted May 24, 2015 no. unless you are referring to "sti pinks" that are for LGTs. "Bullet-proof" your OEM TMIC! <<Buy your kit here>> Not currently in stock
maxpower105 Posted May 24, 2015 Author Posted May 24, 2015 They are 07 sti pinks. I have attached a picture.
Moderators BarManBean Posted May 25, 2015 Moderators Posted May 25, 2015 If they are made for an 07 Sti then no. If they are made for an 07 Lgt you should be fine. Part number? "Bullet-proof" your OEM TMIC! <<Buy your kit here>> Not currently in stock
maxpower105 Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 They were purchased for an sti, not a legacy gt. What year sti pink springs fit my car then?
Yeti 08 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 The "pink" springs must be Legacy specific to fit your LGT. "STi" is the manufacturer of the springs, not the car that the spring is meant for. STi makes pink springs for both WRX STI models, and for Legacy GT models. The Legacy pinks are typically not sold here in the US. I got mine from japanparts.com: https://www.japanparts.com/parts/list.php?dl=1&cm=141&md_sm=3:9&page=5 It was a fairly easy transaction, and the springs showed up much sooner than I was expecting.
asianrage Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I have an 08 3.0R with the Bilstein setup. How low will the Pink springs go compared to stock?
Yeti 08 Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 They list a drop of 15mm or a little over 0.5". That gives a good starting point but it will vary a little. I have MT Pinks with Wagon Pinks in the rear. They lowered my front a little more than 15mm and my rear a little less than 15mm. But that is a 2.5GT MT Sedan with Konis, not a 3.0R AT with Bilsteins....
