jmoddes Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Hahahahah omg. Okay, so I'm looking around for another Legacy, this time GT. I'm looking around within 500 miles of Kenosha (between Milwaukee and Chicago) and there is only one Legacy GT. It's a LIMITED and an Auto.... so sad. Carmax is the current owners and well, although all these cars are valued between $14,000-$16,500, these intelligent people have it listed for $19,559. They claim their name, 125 point inspection and water and frame warranty / guarantee is worth $3000+. This car doesn't even look all that clean too. Anyways, they are higher than a kite. I told the salesman, "with all due respect, I'd try to find a complete idiot or rich boy to try to buy this car at this price". His response "it'll sell, this is a great price". After laughing I told him to call me in September if he wants to actually make a sale and lower it to 16,500 and I'd negotiate from there. Back on the Title for the thread, I see there are not too many 09 Legacy's for sale... I mean, I know the body style is slightly different and all... but are these things really that much better than older... I know the new body style is ..well not what I'm interested in anyways... What are your thoughts on the 09 Legacys? I have a 09 Limited N/T. Love the car but yeah, having a few items....
landark Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 There's one in Beaverton Oregon with 50k miles on it for $24k. That's about what my wife (over)paid for her's 3 years ago with 23k miles on it. All used car values are hyper-inflated right now. Ours are no exception. Now is the time to sell high and buy a new car. At the current rate you could buy a new car, drive it for a year, and sell it for a couple grand more than you paid for it. It's enough to tempt me to sell my wagon. There are zero 07s on cars.com in the entire US.

I go by there going to Fond du Lac from Kalamazoo Michigan and I can be to Kenosha in less than 4 hours.
MTBwrench Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 If you're mechanically inclined, and can get a lower price, that Holland listing is a great way to put in a new short block and go stage 2 while you're at it. Not to mention how rare OBXT's are, let alone red ones. Sorry, I guess I have a thing for outbacks MTBwrench's Stage 3 5EAT #racewagon 266awhp/255awtq @17.5psi, Tuned By Graham of Boosted Performance Everyone knows what I taste like.

Hardly an 08 for that matter. And yeah, I wouldn't pay near 20g for the car. It was 21g 3 years ago when I bought my N/T Legacy....:spin:
