Will you get the front one too?

I don’t plan on getting the front or the side ones. My thought with the back one is that it will make the car look lower without sacrificing too much clearance and with the front OEM skirts I think it will look “balanced”.

I considered buying the front one too but it would mean removing the OEM front 'chin' spoilers which I like better than the slightly smaller ones from the Liberal Aero kit

I do like the look though

I didn’t realize that the chin spoilers shown on Liberal’s site weren’t the OEM ones. I assumed that the Liberal front under cover was partially covering them. I have known about these pieces for a while but I have never been a fan of the chrome on our cars so when I thought about getting it paint matched to the body I finally sold myself on it.

Are your cars LHD or RHD?

We're a RHD market here in New Zealand although any LHD car over 20 years old can get a permit...a car less than 20 years old needs to meet certain requirements ie: historically significant, rare, collectable etc

I’ve been trying to find these lights mounted in the fog position. I’m assuming they are PIAA’s based on the stickers on the car.

I've seen nasty Chinese versions but I reckon those are Nissan Cima / Infinity Q45 HID projectors

Sometimes TRS have them also

Thanks, Japan Parts got back to me and told me they are called Vulcan foglights and the PIAA’s are discontinued. I’m assuming this is where they got the name from:

OP, did you ever get your 'headlight spray accessory' working?

I found a guy who is willing to sell me fenders, bumper, beam, and headlights like yours.

I have not but it looks like I may have a couple of months to work on it.

I dropped off my car yesterday at Surgeline with what I thought was a fuel leak and found out that I’m in the #ynansb club. I have the IAG Stage 2 Tuff short block sitting in my house but now I need to wait in line for the actual build. I literally just turned 135k miles before the failure.

Parts that I’m going to reuse:

Blouch DOM1.5xtr

Grimmspeed TMIC w/ black thermal dispersant coating

Grimmspeed STi style hose for TMIC

Cobb SF intake and box

Prova Air Intake Guide

Perrin 2.4" black silicone turbo inlet

IAG TGV Deletes (black)

IAG fuel rails anodized black

IAG fuel lines with STi FPR

ID1000's

DW300c fuel pump

Company 23 Anti-Surge EBCS

TurboSmart BPV*

Killer B Motorsport High Flow Water Pump Housing (WPH)

Tomei Timing Belt Guide

Killer B Motorsport High Performance Oil Pan (EJ25Pan)

Killer B Motorsport Oil Baffle Windage Tray (EJWT)

Killer B Motorsport Ultimate Oil Pickup (070-110)

IP&T V1 Filtered Oil Feed Kit

Killer B Holy Header

Parts I plan to have them add:

IAG Stage 2 Tuff short block with Cosworth Pistons

IAG AOS

IAG air pump delete

Fluidampr crank pulley

STi 11mm Oil pump

Samco ancillary, radiator and oil cooler lines

Koyo aluminum radiator

ARP Head Stud Kit

OEM water pump

All new gaskets and seals

My heads are also being rebuilt and they are adding:

GSC Beehive Valve Springs w/ Titanium Retainer Valvetrain Kit

GSC Power-Division Stainless Steel Exhaust Valves, 32mm

GSC Power-Division Stainless Steel Intake Valves, 36mm

Tomei Poncams

Also, remove my sandwich adapter and move my oil pressure sensor to the galley and oil temp to the oil pan.

:(. Specific cylinder failed? Like lots of misfire in a given cylinder?

He just said “obvious rod knock above 2k rpm”.

What I don’t get is that they didnt find a fuel leak.

Well, if they did not find a fuel link and it looks obvious and they tell you obvious rod knock, then I would doubt a bit their diagnostic skills...

I’ve thought about that, but the rod knock is something I definitely heard. This happened originally on Sunday almost immediately after getting gas. Right as I was getting home I heard some knock and initially thought it was bad gas. I changed the oil and it was dark (about 2K on it) but looked otherwise clean. Admittedly I was looking for obvious metal and I should probably look again more closely (or with a magnet). I still have the oil, so it would be easy to send to Blackstone. I was in denial about it for a couple days and just let it sit there so thats why I’m handling better now than most.
