Kenneth3aracing Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 These old bilstein shocks were taken out from my 3.0R and from Subaru originally package. I replaced the new HD B6 and thinking about just trash these shocks or have any idea to reuse/renew them?
Eric Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I think the stock front ones can be rebuilt, but the stock rears cannot because the housings are crimped (at least that is what the Bilstein guy told me.) Here are Bilstein's prices: http://www.bilsteinus.com/products/search-service/service/ Prices are quite a bit higher than they were a couple years ago, but someone might still want the fronts. Eric
Kenneth3aracing Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 I checked with Bilstein and only front two could be rebuilt with around $280 & shipping. Getting a new set of front B6 around $400. Answer is clear., but I feel the old set are more soft after I put the full new B6 set.
