amm203 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Just picked up a Cobb AP. I have been searching the forums here and encountered a smattering of input from guys running the AP on their 5EATs and wanted to get some consolidated feedback. Right now all that's modded besides some suspension stuff is a Q300 cat-back exhaust. Being in Western PA, all we get is 93 octane. I'm assuming it makes sense to run the Stage 1 93 Octane map? (I read on here that the 93 map should only be used for the track which I don't plan on doing - just some spirited driving.) Biggest concern, too, is cooking the 5EAT with the upgraded HP & TQ so is there anyone who's been running this setup for a while who can comment on their tranny's condition? Just want to get a feel for what to expect/how deep my pockets are gonna need to be in the future. Thanks in advance!
whitrzac Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Use a 91octane map. Run 93 octane if available. Add a small transmission cooler. There are a few threads on adding one. They cost <$60
