Sonny-818 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 I picked up a set of these in 54mm offset for my 2003 Legacy, but I'm wondering what to expect as far as rubbing. I'm sure I'll have to pull/roll the fenders, but I'll be on stock suspension until my wallet recovers. Will I have issues with rubbing at full lock, and when I do go slightly lower in the future, will it pose a a problem? I have my eyes on a certain set of 17x7.5 Rays with a 48mm offset as well. Would that be a better choice for daily driving? Thanks!
Andy_Mac Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 With the offsets of both those rims the outer edge will be within 1mm of each other. Only difference will be more inboard space with the 7.5. Pulling seems a bit excessive for a rim that'll stick out around 14mm more than the stock 17x7 +55 rims ( those were the biggest rims for 3rd gens) 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness
