rothtravo Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 I'm looking at buying some ASA GT12 wheels for my second gen legacy. They are 17x8 48mm offset. They would have 205/50-17 Tires. I have the 2.5 GT sedan with stock suspension. Anyone know if they would fit without any tire rub? Sorry for the noobish question. Thanks!
Osei Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 The only question for me is the 8 in rim. I have 225/45/17's on a 7" rim. I know a wider profile would rub on a sedan. Go to site :http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp will tell you for sure. O.
twisty Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 i had 17/7.5" +43 wheels with 205/45 tires on them. i rubbed in the rear wells, but rolling the fenders worked. i had bad struts at the time too, so that my have had a hand in it also.

I should just buy coilovers and then I wouldn't have to worry about it. Got any pics of what the fenders look like once they're rolled?
twisty Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 ive got a couple here somewhere, but the fenders arent flared at all, so they look the same as they did before. well, minus the previous accident damage and such.
twisty Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 and i have coilovers on mine as well, but they did fit with the stock struts as well.
