TriniLegs Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Guys, Excuse me if I am sound new to Subaru, turbos and tuning but I am.... A few weeks ago I found my boost level dropped to half (0.5) normal boost (1.0). I also I also noticed on take off I would get a slight knock which soon disappeared once the load dropped I guess. This happened sporadically until Sunday where boost is constantly running at 0.5 bars. I had a friend of mine check it earlier this week and he said the IAM was dropping, hence it was going into LIMP mode. Anyone ever experienced this or has any idea of what could be causing the IAM to drop/ Knocking and how to get it back to normal?
MrTris Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Check for leaks. First place to start should be the turbo inlet. Are you familiar with what and where that is?
