I know it's for a wrx but I work in a fab shop and I weld stainless steel all day so I have no problem making it fit. I know it's just a cheap ebay one But I dont care. I just want that rumble
foxymomo Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 seriously? you should have just gone into the fart can isle at your local auto zone or k mart and picked up the 50 dollar special.

I just want that rumble Um, OK. So, there was no real question here. It was just, "I bought this. I'm gonna install it when it shows up and I can do it because I'm a welder." And then the obligatory, "I don't care because dat rumbl tho" to ward off the rest of us. http://i.ytimg.com/vi/NQQdSwFgSec/hqdefault.jpg So what did we learn?

MTBwrench Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 An exhaust with 3" tubing, and a 1" muffler exit? I feel like that may be more restrictive than a stock exhaust. #why? starionesir Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 You work at a fab shop but bought a cheap ebay exhaust instead of just making yourself one at the shop?
MrTris Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 You work at a fab shop but bought a cheap ebay exhaust instead of just making yourself one at the shop? My thoughts exactly. Custom === better.
Unsp0kn Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 That's just the "silencer" showing. I agree 100% that he'd have been better off to buy a good muffler and build the rest. You get what you pay for with these exhaust systems, probably rusts in minutes.
whitetiger Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 ricer fartcan exhaust. dude was a civic owner, what do you expect. ......
MrTris Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 ricer fartcan exhaust. dude was a civic owner, what do you expect. ...... Yeah, but, if "89" means what I think it does, it means he's over 25 and should know better. Oh, wait.
Unsp0kn Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I built my dual Vibrant setup for just under $600 and that was without flanges. I did slip joints on the axle backs.
CloudSeed777 Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I spent $1.89 at the hardware store and have dat rumble.
MrTris Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I spent $1.89 at the hardware store and have dat rumble. Hawgzawst ftw!
MTBwrench Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Hawgzawst ftw! Every poor college age subie owner's first mod... Because dat rumble, yo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk MTBwrench's Stage 3 5EAT #racewagon 266awhp/255awtq @17.5psi, Tuned By Graham of Boosted Performance Everyone knows what I taste like.
Unsp0kn Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 First thing I did on my WRX was a muffler delete, followed by an AP stage 2 tune and turbo back exhaust a few weeks later. Muffler deletes sound pretty raw, I prefer a nice catback.
whitetiger Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 Hawgzawst ftw! i remember when that was all the rage on this site. make your exhaust leak on purpose:lol:
Mike07LGT Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I spent $1.89 at the hardware store and have dat rumble. you can spend $0 and just remove the whole exhaust to get "DAT RUMBLE" 03 WRB WRX (RIP) 04 JBP STI (sold) 07 DGM Legacy GT (RIP) 12 OBP STI (DD)
foxymomo Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I spent $1.89 at the hardware store and have dat rumble. the legendary HAWGZAUST
Leviman Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Hawgzaust sounds good until it just turns into wooshing at higher rpm/power.
wesleyCrowbar Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I spent $1.89 at the hardware store and have dat rumble. Guilty. But I totally did it so I can rev match bro.
KoolAidMan26 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 My exhaust leak doesn't make that rumble because it's in the factory muffler
CloudSeed777 Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Hawgzaust sounds good until it just turns into wooshing at higher rpm/power. That's OK, at higher RPM my exaust note is two cars behind me. Besides, I rarely rev over 3k RPM when I'm trolling the blue-hairs in the IHOP parking lot.
