Thetoad Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 You may have missed this tidbit of news it has now been confirmed,,yes by multiple Independant agencies that the Subaru Legacy has now the highest resale value of any mid size sedan. I always thought that Toyota would earn that distinction but then I remembered mid size ,,,,yes as opposed to Entry Level cars in which they always over engineered those cars in order to earn that all important "Brand Loyality Tag".Todays Tercel or Corolla buyer is in the following generation a Lexus buyer. Every now and then by forces unknown to me I feel compelled to do these droppings. Treat this as elevator music,,,no more..
alex0856 Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Doesn't surprise me. My wagon in good condition could probably sell for 11k - that's 36.67% of the sale price on a 10 year old car with 111k miles. My roommate on the other hand has a 2001 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer that's been in his family since new. Bought new off the showroom floor in 01 for a whopping $52,000. Currently for sale for $3500. 6.73% of sale price. 14 years old, 125k miles.
MaasaiWarrior Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Subaru's even with high milage sell very well, glad to hear these numbers. I know mine is worth much more than what I paid! (roommate is a car dealer) 08 Spec B, insta: @08_spec_b, 10 SH Forester insta: @shfozzy
