NoRoadtrippin
Has anyone seen this on Kickstarter? I am surprised the guy hasn't been trying to spread the word here, but a search didn't turn anything up. Doesn't look like it will end up making funding realistically. Thoughts? CoolShims
Hi NoRoadTrippin, No, I didn't try and spread the word here. Spent most of my time on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. I won't make that mistake again :-) I am registering on the forums and will try and get the word out or at least get some feedback and prepare for the next campaign. I did run an add in Import Tuner magazine at the beginning of February, but for all of its expense, I don't think it drove many people to the CoolShims kickstarter http://www.tinyurl.com/CoolShims or to our website at http://www.CoolShims.com Which is too bad, I think that this is the first Kickstarter product for Subaru... NoRoadtrippin
If you can find a way to get people here to believe, they'll sell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

NoRoadtrippin
Those won't fit between my Brembos and my front rims thats for sure. That is one thing that had come to my mind. For guys that are already stressing on whether or not upgraded brakes will clear their rims, these are definitely going to be a no-go.
CoolShims
Good comments! These particular #CoolShims aren't for the STi. We made those a long time ago and then discovered that people with the STi don't upgrade to larger diameter wheels because the stock rims are really light and really good. This taught us a valuable lesson :-) For the non-brembo cars the #CoolShims sit next to the caliper, not on top of it. This is really preferable because then we don't have to deal with will clearances and it still gets the heat out.
