Had a productive Sunday evening:

[*]Tribeca Front swaybar 20401XA00A

[*]Tribeca swaybar bushes 20414XA01A x2

[*]Adjustable swaybar links

Tribeca bar installed

16061381993_b2002c2aab_o.jpg

New adjustable links

16681329975_98065125e9_o.jpg

Question about the Tribeca sway bar -- specifically the adjustable endlinks: which brand endlinks are those and what size? I'm thinking about switching to the Tribeca bar but unsure of what end links will work.

Thanks.

I love your Legacy by the way. Probably one of my top 5 of all time.

Have a look through this thread

Part numbers you'll need:

25mm tribeca bar: 20401XA00A

Forester Rear end links: 20470SA011

Tribeca sway bushings: 20414XA01A

The links I have are some generic ones I bought from a local parts supplier. They don't really have a brand name on them but are of a very decent quality @$35 a pair. Run them on my old BH5 GT-B without any issues.

Beatrush by Laile 3.0R specific radiator cooling plate and Blitz hybrid A/C filter

16599333544_1d29639aee_o.jpg

Originally I was looking at getting a Zero/Sports (had one in GT-B) or Cusco plate. Z/s looks seriously under-designed, especially for its price. Nearly ordered Cusco but then I discovered Beatrush: 3.0 specific, cheaper and I already knew that their quality is really good.

Install pics, nothing extraordinary.

Not sure if these plates actually do what manufacturers claim their should do (although makes some sense). I just like the way it look and how it tidies the front end of the engine bay.

Blitz Hybrid A/C filter

16599333544_1d29639aee_o.jpg

These are the world's first automotive washable / reusable cabin air filter! Imagine how much waste you can spare the environment from & how much money you can save.BLITZ Hybrid cabin filters are designed to replicate the size and fit capacity of your stock OE filter (if applicable). Thus expect direct plug-n-play replacement. They are more superior to your OE filter in terms of filtration capacity.

http://www.sigmaautomotive.com/pentex/blitz/main02.gif

Thanks to a nanotechnology called Photocatalysis, the titanium dioxide (TiO2) coating on this filter reacts with natural sunlight and a powerful anti-bacterial & deodorant reaction takes place, rendering them to be reusable over and over again.

Please note that a catalyst is neither consumed nor altered in the reaction so theoretically speaking, this TiO2 coating does not diminish. However, it doesn't mean that these filters can be washed & reused infinitely because as particles get trapped by this filter, some portion of the coating is permanently blocked. And as you vacuum & wash these filters, some coating may be scraped off over time. Nevertheless, this is still the world's most environmental cabin air filter.

  1. Hybrid A/C Filter is blue in color when new.
  2. As it absorbs airborne pollutants, its color turns to brown. So check once every 6 months or every 2 oil change intervals.
  3. Vacuum the filter gently (optional but recommended) & wash it under faucet to dislodge as much dirt as possible.
  4. Let it sunbathe in direct daylight for 6~12 hours so that Photocatalysis can take place to oxidize vital pathogens (i.e. disinfection) & to deodorize a vast spectrum of odors.
  5. Now, your dried filter is ready to be used again.
  6. NOTE: When you notice that the filter has stubborn stain/dirt adhered to it even after repeat washes, it's an indication that the filter may have reached the end of its lifespan because no photocatalysis can take place if the TiO2 coating is blocked.

Not sure when the filter was replaced last time, I knew it was overdue just could not justify paying so much for original Subaru filter. All in all Blitz ended up being cheaper than if I went to buy one from a local stealership, about the same as getting one from Partsouq.

To early to conclude, I've only had the system running for a bit today but there's no smell at all.

Keep working on the suspension.

Cusco pillowbal rear swaybar links 684 317 A

Cusco rear swaybar lower bracket 684 316 A

(HKS Kansai Services roll centre adjusters to be installed later)

Rear set-up so far:

  • Ohlins fixed perch struts
  • Apexi springs
  • Zero/Sports 21mm swaybar
  • Zero/Sports swaybar bushes
  • Cusco pillowbal rear swaybar links 684 317 A
  • Cusco rear swaybar lower bracket 684 316 A
  • Cusco rear swaybar mounts reinforcement brackets 684 316 B

Didn't expect tons of difference but was pleasantly surprised with the outcome ( I know I always say so :D). The butt feels even more solid, I guess the pillowball links made the biggest difference. Set rear struts at 2 and the fronts at 8 (0 being the hardest and 30 the softest).

Front/rear strut braces conversion from Cusco to Beatrush by Laile is now complete.

Front Cusco strut brace with integrated brake cylinder stopper was replaced with a Laile front brace and a standalone Laile brake cylinder stopper (Laile call it Direct Brake System).

DAMN bro. Can I call you bro... bro? Holy shit. Easily the cleanest and sexiest legacy out here IMO. And the beatrush parts just made me soil myself. I really love the color of the BR parts! Keep it up man, truely inspirational:rolleyes::spin:

Hows fitment of that beatrush rear strut bar? Does it leave a big bulge where it goes under the carpet like a few of the other ones do?

Think that'll be next on my list of things to do

Heard some people calling it a "invisible" strut bar, obviously for a reason. Cusco goes above the floor panel, Beatrush under. You'll have to do a bit of trimming of the underside of the floor panel as far as I know - won't be visible and won't affect anything. Sedans are a bit different due to being sedans, still more stealthier look than Cusco.

Beatrush has lower profile overall, especially top hat mounts - makes you life much easier if you have to access suspension damper adjusters, Cusco was much more pita.

Slowly getting through some goodies in the boot. Today's quota fulfilled:

  • 686 477 A Lower Arm Bar Version II Front
  • 680 318 B — BH/BE Sway Bar Links Rear

Got some BH/BE rear links to go at the front - fit perfectly with the Tribeca bar.

18673595951_bf28777fca_o.jpg

Then was the lower arm bar. 3.0R specific and doesn't go across like K-bar did on my old BH.

18671324855_8645a49fbe_o.jpg

Quality Cusco stuff as always, much beefier triangle bit than stock, 5-point bar on each side instead of a flimsy little bracket.

Didn't have a chance to give it a decent test-drive but definitely felt more solid on a motorway and in a few sharp turns. I shouls really borrow a stock 3.0R to remind myself what stock feels like :)
