mdavisgtm
Hay guys thought that I would show you my latest project with my 3D printer. I dont know if I just buy big sunglasses or what but they would not fit in the sunglasses holder of my Legacy. It took me a while but I was able to reverse engineer the holder and make a hump on the bottom to allow bigger sunglasses to fit in. I think that it turned out pretty good. Just need to paint it now. Let me know what you guys think!
Xander_X
Cool! Wish mine HAD a sunglasses holder to begin with. Must be for earlier models/ ones without moonroof?
spec.B452
Excellent job, damn I want a 3d printer! What model printer did you use to make this?
mdavisgtm
I used a Ultimaker 2 to make it. Took a while because it was my first project but im happy with the results. I think that my next project is going to be printing a adapter that fits over the OEM radio and will hold a 8" Samsung Tablet.
DrD123
Well done! Can you paint it to match? Cool! Wish mine HAD a sunglasses holder to begin with. Must be for earlier models/ ones without moonroof? 2010+ Legacy/Outback have them (even with a moonroof)
mdavisgtm
Dont know about painting it to match. Im thinking black Plasi-Dip would work. Plus that little bit of rubberized coating on the inside will help keep the sunglasses from rattling around.
