RyanFromSC
Here she is, traded a POS '90 Camaro straight up for it. It has less miles and less broken stuff and doesn't smoke like the Camaro As I've said she definitely ain't winning any beauty contests but it runs great and its a 5-speed like I've wanted. I've included a pic of the "Crapmaro" and my wife's Focus just because
Drift Motion
wow...they are so cheap to the point where they didn't put in a tachometer...especially for a manual car?
RyanFromSC
I was a little confused by that one... Kinda hard to Rev match when you can't see the revs lol
2point5GT_Dan
The stripper models didnt have roof rails or a tach, but the tach is easy to swap in. This continued all the way until the gen 3 legacy wagon L toilet poverty model with no tach and rack.

I could care less about the roof rack but I might see if I can find a thread for the tach swap in. Thanks for that info, brother Dan!

RyanFromSC
I'm not too concerned. Overall the car is in great mechanical shape.
RyanFromSC
Been practicing with the 5-speed, trying to get it down pretty good before I make it my daily driver. I replaced the air filter, pcv valve and corroded battery terminals today along with a brand new battery. Also, I was missing 2 wheel covers and the other 2 were pretty curb-rashed so I put some pimpin' Walmart ones on Feel free to point and laugh. I'm impressed with how easy and accessible everything's been so far to work with on this car. Hopefully I don't destroy it learning to master the manual trans again. Next plans are to change all the fluids and hunt down a tachometer!

Actually, the gen 3 with no tach, no roof rails and rear drum brakes is the same model as his 2nd gen. It's a Brighton. The L model has a tach, roof rails and rear disc brakes. I have a 3rd gen L.
