Oil mist behind turbo

Recommended Posts

The other benefit I found out, was lining up the IPR tmic the last time. I had to move the turbo to the side to get the tranny out. I just removed those 3 bolts and the turbo slide over nicely.

When it came time to put the IPR tmic back on. I just started the bolts that I use to hold the turbo on the up pipe. Left it loose. Started the tmic int he TB hose got it close on the turbo, and tighten the screw clamp on the hose. Then tilted the tmic and started the two bolts that bolt it to the turbo flange. Started the support bracket bolts then tighten the two turbo flange bolts, then the rest. Then tighten the 3 bolts at the up pipe.
