These should only drawn around 7-8w per bulb from VLEDS http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-10-led-drl-fog-light-bulbs-h11-1-pair.html 16' Legacy Mods: 55w HID + XB35 5500k, LEDS upgrades, XB Type T Fog, 20mm SB. rob_m
OK ... what's the secret to getting the bulb out of the receptacle for the trunk light? I finally got the cover unclipped, but can't wiggle the bulb loose for the life of me. It's a 194, right? Should pop right out. Almost to the point of using vise-grips. Yeah I had difficulty also; if you have a piece of tape use that and save yourself some time. Diode Dynamics
We will be launching a new site in January with more 2015+ model information and more specific technical information about our bulb designs Our current listings for the Legacy go up to 2014, http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/led-bulbs-1/listed-by-vehicle/subaru/legacy.html Our HP5 (194 bulb) produces 92 lumens (measured, not calculated) Nick C. Yoda_One
Here is a link for cup holder lights very interesting. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5025350 Laughing at Oneself and with Other is good for the Soul
rob_m
Perfect! Trying to figure out if this will fit the 3.6r. I do have the 4th Gen Outback, and I know the cup holders are definitely a tad larger. Now I see that the kit for the older generation Legacy contains a round and a shaped piece. But you can order specific-sized round ones. Sweet!
vicvega
I opted for this and have no regrets. It's not the fancy Prolights but for me it does the job and it's better than the stock: http://www.ebay.com/itm/13x-SMD-White-LED-Interior-Lights-Package-Deal-Kit-For-Subaru-Legacy-20002014-/201035919292 For an older Legacy but perfect for what I needed and had extras leftover. I don't know how the festoon/dome lights sold by amazon be Samsung brand. Even with the heatsink it runs too hot especially where there is no ventilation to cool it. Some photos of the package: http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc61/vicvegadiecast/20150203_170744.jpg For me best bang for the buck.
