Tips for refinishing 2006 Spec.B rims?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I bought some Spec.b rims from a member here. They are curbed so I would like to refinish them. Has anyone tackled this project before and can give me tips?

Also does anyone know the name of the color they are?

I will be refinishing them in a similar way as in the link above. I'll post progress pictures here!

I know this may sound a little ricy, but, have you ever thought of doing plasti dip? It will cover in all the scratches and scrapes and cost you at the most $50. I just did it for the first time on my rims and they are great. There are plenty of diy videos on youtube.

I love those wheels, best looking OEM IMO ( at least they would look awesome on my wagon)

I've read JB Weld works well for the curbing, light sanding primer and paint, Not sure on paint color keep searching.
