Hugo L.
Hi, I recently noticed that if I try to accelerate from around 3k rpm in, say, 3rd gear, that car would shudder before I would feel any acceleration. Yesterday I was on the highway, crusing at around 2.5k rpm, and instead of downshifting, I just gave it some gas (not hard, just gradual increaed throttle input). Well, the rpm needle just jumped to 5k rpm and the car barely budged, until I let off the gas a little, and it seems like it «picked up», and then I accelerated. Seems like it's doing that more and more, in pretty much every gear. Ironically, accelerating hard in 1st gear doesn't seem to be the problem.< Time to change the clutch?
