07spec
Alternator Problem or bad battery? Here's the back-story, I don't drive my '07 SpecB every day, as I have another car I typically use as my beater. After only 7 days of sitting in my garage un-started at 60 degrees ambient temp, the battery will be dead enough to not start the car or even the dome light when I open the door. Just 7 days. I would immediately think battery, but I just replaced the battery 6 months ago with an X2-Brand AGM Battery with 820 CCA and a 60 month warranty. Car only has 73,900 miles on it, could it be the alternator going bad? OR Do i just need need to drive the SpecB more then every 7 days? DO any of you have this experience as well? What is the longest you have left your car parked and it still started? Am I naive to think I can leave a car parked for week and still start it? Hirschman
My wife works from home and I sometimes forget to drive her car for 2-3 weeks. Never had a problem starting it, and it is still on the factory battery from 2011. I think you may have a small battery drain somewhere.
