Official Carbide Gray Metallic Thread (2015+)

Here's my 2015 Carbide Grey Limited with Eyesight. Ordered back in July.

I added:

1. dimming sideview and rear view mirrors

2. wheel locks

3. body side molding

4. rear bumper guard

5. trunk liner

6. Splash guards

7. And now that their out, I'm picking up the Weathertech floor liners this weekend.

This is a picture of her in my garage. I installed the EcoHitch 1-1/4" two hitch shortly after this picture was taken. I have Hankook i-Pike tires on there for the winter.

I plan on having window film installed in the spring (likely 40%) and then leaving her alone!

Hitch installed and ready for bike rack!!

Congrats on the new Legacy. I have one on order, should be in on Tuesday, and it is configured just like yours - including the foglights.

Funny, I am even in the same situation of wanting the Limited but affording the Premium just like you.

Cheers

Just got some new wheels. Just replaced the stock 17s and kept the factory Goodyears. Also have tint done 50/20 damn state laws

Another pic a little closer up. I painted the center caps black to match the wheels. Didnt care much for the carbon fiber look

First time posting. Brand new the day after Christmas. Already in for service. Defects in the paint. Unrepairable that day. Wanted to send it to a body shop to repaint. Ordered another new car instead.

White specs under the clearcoat near the drivers side rocker panel. Also there was rust on the passenger door between the front of the door and the front panel of the car.

The dealer tried color sanding and couldn't get the white specs out. The rust bothered me more. If you run your finger down the seam you could feel two little pimples that had rust on the tops.

It was more like 2 pimples. if you ran your finger down the seam in between, you would feel two pimples both rust in color. Dealer tried to sand them down but they are still there. I can only guess that the device that held the door while they screwed in the hinges may have done something when placing the door. Not sure.

It's really hard to tell the difference between CGM and TBM.. Is there any real noticeable difference in person? I would think that the CGM would be darker

Hey, check out my reply to you in the TBM thread, where I posted a link you should check out. Carbide gray looks much more blue in photos than in person, IMO. It's definitely gray--gray with a very subtle blue undertone, but gray. TBM is decidedly blue.

Here's my new Legacy. I picked this one up last week. 3.6R Limited w/ Eyesight and dimming side rear view mirrors. Love this car! I had a hard time deciding if I wanted white or this color. I'm happy with my choice.

I plan on tinting the rear 5 windows soon.

Any other mods that are highly suggested?

You learn something new everyday! I just priced one out and you can get it on the Limited up there. You guys get all of the good stuff! I'm a fan of black interior but the carbide gray/ivory must look sharp! It may be hard finding pics on here but be sure to post pics when you get the car.
