scobaru5
My car randomly stopped starting the other day when it was driving fine the previous night. The car is a 05 LGT wagon and it cranks over but doesn't fire. I hooked up a tactrix cable and It's getting a Crank position signal along with cam but its not firing the injectors and I don't believe its getting spark, I pulled a coil out and grounded the spark plug and I'm getting nothing. I can hear the fuel pump and I'm getting fuel from the pump. any suggestions?
Max Capacity
Have you checked all the engine grounds ? the two on the bottom of the heads to the chassis and the two below the master brake cylinder. Make sure they are clean and tight. I know on Hondas if the ECU doesn't get a proper signal when you switch the key to ON it will not allow the fuel pump the send fuel. The ECU sends out a 5v test signal, if it doesn't get returned the car won't start. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Engine Build - Click Here
