specbravo
Any idea's for a winter tire size for my 2008 spec b? currently p215/50r17. I've seen a few threads saying that 16" steelies wont fit due to the larger brakes.

Drogos
16 won't fit. I am on 205/50/17, tiny step down from original size.

bigbadboss101
I would say 215 45 17 or 205 50 17. Depend on where you are you can decide on the model of tire. Go to tirerack.com and look under survey. You can go dedicated winters but if you don't get much snow then a vg all season is ok IMO. I am going with either Michelin X-Ice or Nokian Hakka as I am in western Canada.
quick4dr
Dunlop 3D. Or the new one. Or nokian Hakka's
turboboost
215/45/17 is a good balance of tire width and sidewall height. For dedicated snows (not performance) -- Michelin X-ice3, Blizzak WS70/80, Nokian Hakka's = $$$. General Altimax Artics and Hankook iPikes = $. All are tried and true. thejean
Hey guys, will a 225/55/17 be too big for my GT Limited? It's a fair bit lower than a regular legacy eh? I can get a nice set of Hakka RSI in 225/55/17 for cheap but thinking they may be too big.
