Badge/Emblem to Cover Paint Chips?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a nice stock-ish looking emblem to cover a spot on the rear of my car. It seems the dealer used a razor blade to remove the old dealer decal and covered it up with a new one and when I went to remove theirs it revealed a ton of chips.

Preferably it would be 4" x 1"...

I like this emblem, but it doesn't look like it will cover very much: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Genuine-OEM-Subaru-Rear-Badge-Symmetrical-AWD-2010-2011-Impreza-WRX-STi-/330898345172?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d0b140cd4&vxp=mtr

Not very stock looking, but it would cover the majority:

The STI emblems look like they would cover it, but I really don't want to put an STI emblem on it...

There are so many different versions of the emblems throughout the years and models that it is hard to know exactly how large some of these are. I'm hoping some of you have already had this issue and found something that looks good and will cover it. Let me know if you have any ideas, Thanks!

The trunk garnish is removable, so you could replace it [($95 new unpainted) could probably source it cheaper from salvage yards or part outs] or repaint it. Seems like you don't want to spend alot, so that might not be for you but just throwing that out there.
