Every time I pass the dealership, It seems like I only see a couple new ones on the lot and bunch of last ten leftover/used Outbacks.
hmmrdwn
Guess mainstream looks mean high volume sales. I sorta like quirky, but general public doesn't.
SLegacy99
There would be one more in there if they would every deliver my WRX...seriously, it's been 6 months.

Must be killing you, but think how excited you will be when it gets here! I'd love a WRX. My driving record wouldn't though.
cipher_nemo
Those numbers makes sense to me. I see Crosstreks everywhere (I think they're ugly, though), and Legacy has been a great seller since the 2010 introduction of the 5th gen. I love my 2011 model. The 6th gen looks hot. However, I noticed the lack of mentioning "Impreza" in the top of that quote. That makes even more sense: I test drove a new, base model Impreza just a few weeks ago when looking for a vehicle for my wife. We both hated it: horrible ride, and felt cheap. The Legacy has a huge leg up on the Impreza. Sort of a shame, since I like the standard AWD in Subaru models (except of course the BRZ by Toyota crap). MJ in PA
Folks like vanilla and vanilla is what Subaru gave them...vanilla with standard AWD. The funny thing is so many other midsize cars are going from kind of vanilla to sleek and sporty while Subaru goes the other way. (Nissan Altima, Chrysler 200, Ford Fusion, among others...) (Nissan Altima, Chrysler 200, Ford Fusion, among others...) Must be why those bigger cars have less room than the Legacy. I thought they stopped make the Tribeca ? There's still inventory out there after production ended. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
