garygbnj Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 176k-New throttle body 1 yr ago. The throttle body replacement stopped the intermittent stalliing for a while. Started again after about 8 months. Typically occurs (intermittent) after a long (5-8 minutes) at a more or less continuous speed. As I come to a stop the engine stalls. Starts immediately. Have tried cleaner in the tank (no effect), reset the idle (cold engine, disconnect battery, reconnect and allow to idle to normal operating temp). My mechanic is at a loss as to what to do. doobaruGT Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 There are two ground leads running from the block to the rail. If you still have your splash guard you may have to drop this to see.
