Winesalot
On my 95 legacy sw the tire store told me my tie rod ends were bad. Upon further inspection what is loose is actually the driver's side rod that goes in to the steering rack that has some play. Is this repairable or do I need to start shopping for a replacement? johnegg
it is called an inner tie rod, and it is replaceable. i have not done it but i hear it is not too hard. but you can buy a replacement rack for about $75, install new boots, about $30 install the rack, align the wheels at a shop, and go. i do not know what the inner tie rod costs. probably less than the above, so pick your poison.
