Industry
Anyone know what size the bolt is that holds the brake line to the front strut? Broke mine off in the old strut and hoping to grab one one on the way home from work. Thanks.
Varano14
It was either 11 or 12mm if I remember correctly. Just changed springs last week
Max Capacity
Brake line, 6mm x 1.00 or 1.25. Maybe 3/4 -1" long. I zip tie will work too. I'm thinking its just the clamp type bracket your talking about ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). lockmedic
It's a 12mm hex. Probably 6mm x 1.0 threads. It's kind of hard to find the nice cadmium plated flange head bolts Subaru uses in a hardware store. For that reason I save all the hardware on cars I part out. Subaru techs probably have a drawer full of random bolts in their tool boxes. . . ask nice and they might give you one.

Max Capacity
When I wanted 3 bolts for my turbo to up pipe to replace the studs. The parts guy gave me a hand full of them. Just use anti-seize compound on the new bolts your putting in. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
