05subileggygt
I was wondering what all do you need to do the front brembo brake setup. I know calipers rotors. No one gives a straight answer
kred
Just got mine on a couple weeks ago. STi front brembos are a direct bolt on for our legacy gts. You need rotors, brembo calipers, and STi specific brake pads. Once you get those three things, just bolt everything on, bleed the brakes, and you've done. One important thing to consider is if your wheels will clear brembos. Research that, you might need to get some different wheels or at least wheel spacers. 05subileggygt
Ok great. Where did you get yours from? I want to the 2004 setup. 5x100. My wheels will clear them. There 9'' wide. I already have braided brake lines too (:

05subileggygt
Will my brake lines bolt rite up as well?
kred
I got my brembos in a package deal with an STi 6 speed and full drivetrain from a guy on Craigslist. You'd probably have the best luck finding brembos on NASIOC. I noticed a big difference in stopping, like I can come up to a traffic light running hot, then put my brake on later and still stop early. Braking feels really smooth, especially considering my old rotors were lousy and warped. Your brake lines will bolt right up also. Might want to get them checked out though. There was a recall for 05-09 legacys for corroding brake lines.
ragman
Will my brake lines bolt rite up as well? Yes, but after going as far as getting a Brembo set up, you might as well get a set of the stainless lines too.
