Gbrown
Hello Anyone know how to test the resistance for 1995 2.2 legacy? I've got a chilton that says to disconnect the harness from the sensor and check the sensor terminal(s) with the ohm meter negative to chassis ground. If the sensor is disconnected, then how can I get a reading with the ohm meter on chassis ground? Doesn't make sense (to me anyway) Gbrown
snederhiser
Hello; What you are checking is the condition of the harness to make sure the wires are making a connection! Probe the white wire with a straight pin and connect the meter on a low dc voltage. Should read .75-1.5 with the harness connected and the car at an idle. In my case, after the car warmed up, was getting eratic voltage readings, causing a bad idle. Steven.
Gbrown
Thanks, I checked the voltage, and I get .9v from the white wire to ground.
