Yeah to both. :) Yes, it's the doggie cage type thing... Price on Subaru's site is $240, and from the article in Drive magazine, is supposedly a no-tool install/removal from the car. [img]http://www.subaru.com/images/shop/legacy/accessories/F551SAG600.jpg[/img]

We thought about one for my wife's FXT, but our big dumb dog (similar to the one in the picture) stays in the cargo area and doesn't leap over the seats so it seems redundant. The prisoners on the other hand...

The prisoners on the other hand...[/quote] The compartment separator is not only useful for dogs but rather from preventing cargo to fly over into the passenger rear seats area especially if you have a baby, children sitting in the back. Note to self: Get compartment separator, auto-dimming rear view mirror, Toyo Proxes 4 tires,...
