hotrodwagon
First of all, does anyone want pix of the Stromung installed on a wagon? I don't remember seeing any posted yet, only on sedans. It looks awesome! But after a weekend of setting off car alarms and scaring children as I drive by, it's time to make an alteration. The drone at 2800k RPM (of course 65mph in 5th is there) is too much for me. My question - should I put in a resonator or a cat in the midpipe? I know that a cat will also help reduce the noise. I have a catless uppipe and catted downpipe, but I figured with one more in I could pass a visual inspection if needed. For those who did a complete custom exhaust, did you use a resonator? If so, what make/model? TIA,-scott
AWDxBOOST
dont put a cat in there...just use a resonator i have a long one that came with the perrin catback, but i dont know how much of a difference it made
Xanth
Check out jegs.com they have these nice full stainless steel shell and packing tube mufflers. I think its by "stainless works" or something (on my pda, jegs.com is not friendly, sorry).

firedawgs
+1 on the resonator. The resonator is not even that restrictive being straight through. I chose to leave my resonator in, since I did not in my WRX and it was tooooooo loud. Updated my vBGarage:
firedawgs
And if you still don't like it. I know a couple of friends that would be happy to take the exhaust off your hands for you. Dibs on the exhaust. HA ha Updated my vBGarage:
BoxerGT2.5
Might wanna check for leaks. Shouldn't be any different from the Sedan (soundwise). Call Stromung direct because they had a provision for a resonator to be put in the Y pipe, I know cause I was worried about sound as well so I contacted them just in case.
