leeberbs
Where: Lime Rock Park, CT When: 11/10/05 Who: Anyone from the 1st timer to full out racers What: HPDE (high performance driving event), Comp. school (for the almost racers), and racing for the big dogs Whats required: Car, helmet, Long-sleeved shirts, long pants and closed-toe shoes, Why: Because its the best thing you can do in your car besides gettin road-head.. Most of us spend stupid amounts of money to mod our car and never get to really drive it. These events allow you to learn how to drive the car in a controlled environment with no cops or no speed limits...The guys and gals at nasa do an amazing job of making sure everybody has a SAFE, awesome time. Beginners have an instructor to show them the ropes and everyone gets classroom time to review and learn.. ChruiSSer
hhhHHHHHHHmmmMMMmmmm....I might have to come. I'm not sure if I'll watch or race though. I'm still running stock suspension w/ stock swaybars. With the power the thing leans and understeers like a mofo. Not to mention the squat on acceleration.... coxx
I did skip barber at lime rock too. They definitely showed me a few cool tricks. You'd be surprised how much you already know & how much you thought you knew but didnt. Good stuff & it's a real blast. (I actually won the time race out of my group, woo hoo, lol.) "Barack Obama, mothaf#%@a! Barack Obama! I'm the president...of hittin' the ass!" -this is not a political view it's merely a quote from a hilarious tv show. legacy_y_tu
Maybe I should have asked sooner. Does anyone know how quickly these events fill up? Not that I was expecting to get in days before the actual event .
