Dispatch20
Here is where I stuffed cables and ballasts. Passenger side went behind the headlight in the bumper near the air box. I secured it with a zip tie to some other harness. I didn't have any two sided tape. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160531/04aaea6908ccfe9d9c41b5f72b5f9198.jpg Driver side is zip tied to the side of the radiator. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160531/73d2060d6393a8c93d92080fe9af3095.jpg The relay harness is bolted to the radiator support. I had to use a dremel to enlarge the relay bracket hole so that the bolt from the rad support would fit through. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160531/cec15fa2a64cd52336865dd3965db8dd.jpg
Dispatch20
Dondolo - you're in a tough spot. Tearing apart the headlights is a huge pain in the butt. But I do think you'd have much better long distance light performance if you put in the corrected bracket and aimed them according to DOT standards (I linked you to ministiguys tutorial a few pages back) If I were you, I'd pull them apart and fix it. That would give you the opportunity to do the high beam solenoid wiring cleanly through the grommet (see pics above). You can also run then through the plastic cap/cover grommet, if you prefer. IceWilly
Looking at a retrofit for a 2015 2.5i Premium legacy. TRS's website puts the Retro-quik legacy kit (05-14) as an option for the 2015... so presumably it still fits. https://www.theretrofitsource.com/complete-retrofit-kits/morimoto-retroquik-subaru-legacy.html?preselect=50325%2C47840 Can you guys speak to the additional options they have and if these are required? Specifically HID ballasts, H1 HID bulbs and the relay harness. I would just have assumed the kit needed to support the BI-xenon projectors would have included bulbs and ballasts with them... but maybe I am wrong. I know people say their ballasts may be the same as cheaper ones... but should I assume the standard kits come with NO ballasts and I would have to provide those as well. Recommendations for appropriate ballasts?

Recommendations for appropriate ballasts? The Retro-Quik kits only have the projector and the brackets and hardware. You will need to add the bulbs and the ballasts if you don't own those already. If you're good at wiring, you can probably do your own wiring but if not then you'll need the other add ons as well
IceWilly
Looking at a retrofit for a 2015 2.5i Premium legacy. TRS's website puts the Retro-quik legacy kit (05-14) as an option for the 2015... so presumably it still fits. As a follow up to this, I did not opt for the Retro-quick legacy kit. Instead I went all in: - NHK D2S G5-R projectors (similar to morimoto D2S 4.0) - Hylux 35W ballasts - Adapter brackets for the legacy - Osram CBI D2S bulbs and also installed the Diode Dynamics C-light LED strip. Only some slight modification of a plastic piece inside the headlight was required to fit the projectors (the highbeam solenoid interfered a little) It's an awesome amount of light now, and was something I was missing after getting rid of my STI (HIDs). With the highbeam splitter wires I also actuate the Bi-Xenon to high beam with the OEM high beams to really light up the world. PM me any questions about the install. FYI I used 1x additional #6 washer on the upper INSIDE mounting screw for the projector to get proper horizontal & vertical alignment pre leveling. It took me a few days of work. Getting our huge headlights to fit into an oven is very difficult, but I would say a REQUIREMENT for this job. Especially when resealing them. I spent a lot of time wiring everything up super clean and make sure it was all snugly sealed and wires routed and stashed well in the engine bay.
