Who is down for creating a daily WOD thread? Programming can come from anywhere. I think this would be a great opportunity for people to share what comes from their local box or another site perhaps. With all the people on here I'm sure there are a few level 1s or 2s that have WOD programming or oly lifting experience they can share. So what do yall thing?

Today's workout

 

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 7 minutes:

 

3 Thruster 95/65#

 

3 Toes to bar

 

6 Thruster 95/65#

 

6 Toes to bar

 

 

Rest 3 minutes

 

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 7 minutes:

 

8 Wall Ball

 

8 Burpees to Target

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 7 minutes:

 

8 Shoulder to Overhead 115/75#

 

16 Box Jump 24/20” Game Standard

Walking Lunges with Dumbbell/Kettlebell x 20 steps @ 1010

 

Rest 45 seconds

 

Push-Ups x 15-20 reps @ 20X1

 

Rest 45 seconds

 

Ring Rows x 8-10 reps @ 2111

 

Rest 45 seconds

 

Toes to Bar x 10-12 reps

Did this workout at 5:15am this morning. Now to get ready for the CrossFit Open 14.1 workout tomorrow

 

A. Five sets of:

 

Overhead Squat x 3 reps @ 30X1

 

Rest 30 seconds

 

Weighted Pull-Up x 2-3 reps @ 21X0

 

Rest 3 minutes

 

B. Seven rounds for time of:

 

95/65 lb. Overhead Squat x 7 reps

 

Burpees x 7 reps

 

 

 

 

 

14.1 Workout (CrossFit Open)

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of:

30 double-unders

75-lb. power snatches, 15 reps

And the open begins. Playing catch up from bad work week, here was todays WOD:

15-12-9

Power Cleans (135/95)

Box jumps 24/18

 

Then

20 min amrap

20 kb swing (24/16)

20 slam ball

20 wall ball sit ups

^^^competed in an open before?

 

I have not. This is my first year for it, been doing CrossFit close to 2 years now.

 

Just got back from doing 14.1 and i completed exactly 5 rounds which gave me a score of 225. Still have a lot of work left to get to the level of the people that were hitting 7 and 8 tonight at my gym.

 

I'll be getting in a 9am workout and from the looks of it, it will be a partner WOD. I'll post it up once i see it again.

Close Grip Bench Press

Rest 90 seconds

 

Snatch Technique Work x 1.1.1

 

Rest 90 seconds

 

B. Three rounds for time of:

 

10 x Hang Power Snatch 115/75 #

 

15 x Ring Dips
