Moderators BarManBean Posted January 19, 2014 Moderators Posted January 19, 2014 What year is the car? 07+ will require CAN-BUS compatibility I believe. "Bullet-proof" your OEM TMIC! <<Buy your kit here>> Not currently in stock
jakeh9890 Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 Sorry its 2005. I check the wires from the port to the ecu and they are good. My brother suggested the security system or trying my other key so thats the next step
Lethaljoker Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 There's a fuse for that. Had the same problem when I tried using a cheap scanner, it blows the fuse but if I I use a snapon no problem. Twice it has happen to me.
jakeh9890 Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 Like i said it wasnt the fuse... But i figured it out, both my dads scantools didnt like the car and my buddys cheap matco one worked fine and it went through inspection. A guy that i know that worked at our subaru dealer said that happens sometimes when they get tuned
