When i shift to D, SOMETIMES it feels like if it were in 3rd

Hi guys

The starting problem with the car is almost solved! the addition of a relay was a great temporary fix, it works well and doesnt damage anything else... i am almost completly sure that the problem is caused because the previous mechanic didnt replace both contacts (in the starter solenoid).

Despite that and couple of problems, the cars is fine.

One of the problems is, the key was accidentally broken when opening the door and about 2.3cm of the broken key is still inside the... i dont know the name of that thing.. i was trying to get it out with a very small tweezers (the ones used for neurosurgery) but then i notice that i dont have contact visual with the remaining key, where did it go, although a full key can not enter completely so it still there, what do you recommend?

Well... the second problem and the main reason why i start this thread...

SOMETIMES, i mean about 1 of 20 times i use the car, after i start it, when i siwtch the gearshift from P to D, the car doesnt do that little push that you feel when the automatic transmission has engaged, instead, the push can be felt but very little and when i accelerate it feels like if it were in 3rd gear...

if i stop and switch to P or N and back to D its gone and everything is normal...

what is it?

ill give you a little background about the transmission of this Subaru, The transmission was changed 7years ago, since that the oil hasnt be changed, about 4 months ago we did a engine seal removal and the mechanic loose some transmission fluid when removing the radiator, he refilled it "to level" but later i discovered that the transmission had about TWO LITERS EXTRA (in other words, i drained two litters to get the level back to the mark).

What do you recommend?

is there a serious transmission problem comming? or could i t be sovled with an oil change?
