Thanks to Robburns201 for posting this.

Excellent video on how to replace PS blend door motors for heat/AC/defrost

Also shows good access to change blower motor and cabin filter.

It looks like he has several other videos on Subaru parts replacement as well. Worth checking out.

Thanks to cmaje72 for finding these and to Max Capacity for alerting me to the posting.

These look to be quite good and if you're having rust problems, we all know where they are. This looks like a solid alternative if you're handy with a torch and do your own body work, but even if not, they look like something you would want to alert a body shop to.

Just replaced the Shift Gate light on my friends 2001 Subaru legacy L sedan with the 2.5l engine. The bulb size is 2723. I had tried a 37 as that's what kept coming up in certain places but the 37 is a little bigger and the base is slightly wider. The 2723 was a perfect fit.

Getting to it is the same as mentioned earlier in this thread, unscrew the shift knob ( just twists off, no set screws), pull the trim piece around the shifter off and then use a flathead screwdriver to very gently pry up the four tabs of the shifter bezel. Directly underneath that to the left of the shifter is the black plastic holder with the lightbulb in the middle. The plastic piece pulls away from the shifter but the wires are very short so it doesn't move far.

The bulb socket turns 1/4 turn out of the black plastic holder and then installation is the reverse once bulb replaced.

Just wanted to add this in case anyone on the Internet was having as hard a time as I was looking for this bulb size.

Thanks to CloudX27 for posting this.

Thanks to Ryans1000 for finding and posting these

Order the two passenger side valve cover vent/equalization hoses on older cars as they are likely to break. both of mine on my 05' GT were corroded on and broke during removal and were not in stock at subaru. the extra heat of the turbo wears down hoses and gaskets. My 2005 gt part numbers were 99071AC010 $10.22 (front) and 99071AC020 $41.22 (rear/firewall/longer hose)

Thanks to Cone Killer originally for finding this and then Sparkey for resurrecting it and re-posting it.

https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/sc-power-steering-pump-rebuild-o-rings-239955.html

This is not the OE part numbers, however, there are photos and you can see the labels on the source for the o-rings. I would suggest you google the company on the labels (The o-ring store, LLC) and use the part numbers as he has them to purchase these. Perhaps anyone interested could do the same and put together small kits for sale that would make everyone's life a lot easier. ;)

Thanks Infosecdad for finding these:

2005 LGT Stock side-feed injectors:

9263K776 Chemical-Resistant Viton Fluoroelastomer O-Ring, 3.5 mm Wide, 20 mm ID, packs of 10

9263K124 Chemical-Resistant Viton Fluoroelastomer O-Ring, 2.5 mm Wide, 8 mm ID, packs of 10

Ordered a pack of ten of each from McMaster, should be here Tue.

Then I can be sure, they are good; thought I would leave this here in case someone needed the sizes.

The ones I carefully removed to measure are quite dry and cracked.
