B_riz0212
Just purchases my first subaru. Love the car, however having an issue with it... Starts fine the first time of the day, and if it sits and cools before I start it again, still fine. But if the engine is warm and I start it after it only sits for 5-10min it shutters, the rpms are <500 and not throws a misfire code. Any suggestions? Already changed plugs and boots. Pazuzu
You might check your fuel pressure. Does the car have any mods? A little more info might help.

Berzerklo
How long has the intake been on? Well before this issue started? Sounds like a vacuum leak.
silen7guardian
Only mod is an AEM CAI Cold Air Intake? More like heat-soaked air intake, the way they're typically installed. If that's the only mod, and you still have the factory snorkel, it may be helpful to revert that.
Max Capacity
Yep, put the stock intake back on. It's good until like 400whp. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. B_riz0212
The intake was on it when I bought the car. I don't have the OEM one but I will find one either on eBay or maybe at a local salvage yard. Thank you all. Will let you know how it goes. B_riz0212
Would a k&n typhoon or spt intake be better, or doesn't cobb make one too? Just a thought, they are easier to find than the OEM one.
stanjk3
Yes there are plenty of aftermarket intakes, but they will all have the same problem - you'll run lean without a tune. You may be able to find a stock intake at a salvage yard. Friends don't let friends drink cheap beer.
