Dan007CT
I got a flat in the back and changed it to the spare. On the way home I then all of a sudden started hearing all kinds of weird horrible noises coming from under the hood and my clutch pedal. It would only happen when I pushed the pedal in. Anyone have an idea if this is related to driving on the spare since it is a different size? I'm trying to figure out if I should drive it straight to the transmission shop, or the tire shop. Thanks in advance!
apexi
How many miles are on your car? What kind of a noise is it? Sound clip would be ideal, but a description works too
Dan007CT
117K miles. the sound is like something is broken and flying around banging against things inside my clutch assy. maybe throw out bearing? i just dont want to bring it to the clutch shop if there are known issues with driving on a spare and can be fixed by putting the right size tire on my car. I however can't seem the relation between a short drive on a spare and a very bad clutch noise. ughhhh
rob-2
The two might not be connected but randomly happened at the same time.
