jacioux
Looking to see if anyone in the Lakewood (near Red Rocks) area has done a HID install? This is will be on a 2010 Legacy. I have never done one before and was looking for a little help so it gets done correctly

Blue Shark
How do HID's do with the stock housings? Do you guys run the DRL's on the 05-07's with HID's also or would it just burn it up. I might want some.
SS05GT
Did the install today... Went perfect. He bought diode dynamics kit with relay packs and all was great. Had to cut back of headlight cup to accommodate new bulbs and wires. Didn't know car was a 2010 leggy and still was pretty much same as doing a 05 like mine. And Blue my 05, I had to bypass the day running lights to save my bulb life. The 2010 models use different bulbs as their running lights, not the low beams... So this made it easy. Anyone else need help, let me know. Done over 10 different brands of kits now and have some extra pieces lying around. Let me know. Subie LOVE!! SS05GT
Oh yeah... To disengage DRL you just unplug a harness under steering column. And switch will work if I remember correctly.
