DoDo1975
2005 LGT Should there be a gasket between the intercooler and the turbocharger? Seems to be small boost leak somewhere trying to find it.
CapnJack
Yes, there should be. If it is the stock intercooler, it will be an o-ring style gasket. If it's an aftermarket, it should be something similar to a Mr Gasket 738G http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRG-738G/
BoxerLove
I know this thread is old. But being i blew out the O ring on my perrin aftermarket TMIC and didnt feel like dealing with it again, The Mr Gasket 738G worked PERFECT! Exact fit. Didn't even have to remove the whole TMIC, just undid the 2 bolts, Got the old O ring and pieces out, slipped the new one in and (BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERTORQUE) Gently tightened the bolts evenly back down. The gasket is a bit expensive if you ask me ($21 with tax) but worth it.
