Preventing heatsoak on FMIC piping

Is there a need to add some heatwrap or that to the FMIC piping, the core does a pretty good job and cooling air coming in from hot side piping into cold side piping but some times the cold side piping gets a little bit warm too, im curious whats the best method to prevent this, some DEI heatwrap, ceramic coating, high temp spray paint etc? Also im not a fan of the standard chrome finish piping is there a DIY way to turn the polished aluminum finished into more of a matt brushed finish?
