Kevin622
Well i have been smelling fuel from my car. I looked under to see if i was leaking because the smell was getting very strong. I have the car parked in my garage and i go in to my garage one morning and it wreaked of gas. I pulled the rear seat out today and took off the cover to where the top of the fuel tank/pump side are and noticed fuel was leaking out. I tightened everything down, cleaned it and im going to see if it stops leaking if not its probably going to need the new gasket.. has anyone else had this happen? http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r6/ehhockeystar44/LegacyGT/IMG_1649_zps53e7286a.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r6/ehhockeystar44/LegacyGT/IMG_1648_zps944265a1.jpg

jp233
So are you sure it's the gasket/seal there for the pump mounting into the tank, because it could be one of the lines there. Either the quick-connectors, or the rubber hose. Since in a rusty environment, it could be one of several things.
Kevin622
well i pulled the seat and cover to where the pump is and went to fill it up cleaned it off and i saw its leaking right where i put the red arrow. Any way to fix these? The piece feels loose and its leaking under the round part of it.. sorry this is the same picture as before! http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r6/ehhockeystar44/LegacyGT/e60326b1-c06a-4e3e-93f2-2be5dfdfadd4_zps3453c3f8.jpg
rum0rz
My wagon also suffers from the fuel smell but I haven't really bothered looking for it. I'll report back if I have the same issue as you are with that piece.
VermontGT
Mine was leaking from the same spot where the plastic fitting comes out. I don't know if you'd be able to repair it or not; I replaced the whole unit. Mine only seemed to be really bad when I had more than 3/4 tank full, but it was running down the side of the tank. Not a safe situation to be in. Get it fixed asap.

VermontGT
yeah mines only when its full/ 3/4. Where did you get the whole unit? I bought mine from Bosch directly. Last time I checked they were not stocking the complete assembly anymore which is unfortunate.
