sneeky
Hello forum, Since I've replaced by turbo I've been extremely paranoid about every little sound or vibration. The turbo blew & was replaced. I have not replaced the oil cooler, lines, & oil pan yet which is why I'm concerned. I've noticed that upon start up the engine is giving me a hard shake every minute or so. Also it seems like the RPM's are a little low when idling. I've attached a video that I uploaded to YouTube. In the video I parked the car after driving for a few minutes and started it up. It seems like the RPM's are really low. [ame=http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AaUr1KXRHig]2005 Legacy GT - YouTube[/ame]
Max Capacity
Has the ECU re-learned idle yet ? How much run time has the car had since the turbo install ? How bad was the old turbo, for shaft play up/down, in/out ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. lingling1337
Revs don't seem too low to me? and while I have group n motor mounts I get a little shake too as the rpms surge at idle after startup. Both before and after replacing my turbo which had minimal shaft play.

Max Capacity
I couldn't really hear anything from the engine. Can you turn up the volume ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. sneeky
Yes, the ECU should have had enough time to relearn everything... I've put a 1000 miles on the car since the turbo install... As far as shaft play, I did not get to inspect the turbo since the dealer did the install, but I was told there was a little bit of metal fragment in the oil pan... I'm going to flush the oil today and inspect the oil again... I'll repost a video with better sound

BoostOrDie
I had the repetitive shudder at idle. I had my fuel injectors cleaned and it mostly went away.
sneeky
Thank you for all that replied. I've searched other threads & my car is acting in the same manner, but no solution or problem was stated. Upon start up the car shudders. When I'm driving and come to a stop it'll shudder. When I'm driving it's fine. Any ideas? Hope this helps.

May be try a can of seafoam in the gas tank. Have cleaned the MAF sensor lately ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).
