if you bring up articles, i think you should either: -provide a link so we can read it -scan the article so we can read it of course the other alternative is that we get our lazy ass up and go to barnes and read it, but the first 2 are more likely. :D
kool... wonder where the 5.9 came from.
It is a manufacture suggested number. Crapy..don't worry I have the same printer scanner BS I have issues with it all the time. But, anyway, I have that issue and I didn't know if we could leagaly scan it and put it on the forum. They give it a solid review. Even though its like the last car reviewd. Also in the new Car and Driver the STI Forester is reviewd.

The way they have cones set up that could be an autox course for all we know--no way to know how fast they were going to get it to lean like that. There might well be copyright issues with scanning and posting the whole story--I'm sure it could be quoted from or summarized however. I'm really hoping for better times than that--wish C&D and others would get their butts in gear and do some testing.

Nice work on the scan. Don't forget.. THE WAGON LOOKS BETTER THAN THE SEDAN! Where's Kevin when you need him? That was a pretty well written article.. they seem to like the car. ;)
Look at that first pic! I didn't know the suspension was that soft! I hope I don't look like going on off-ramps!
hehehe looking at the rear well area though, it gives the impression it could swallow a pair of 18x9s  Too bad the AWD system probably wouldn't take too kindly to staggered wheel&tire setups. :|

But, from a Sedan owner..I have to say..the wagon does look better! :D
But, from a Sedan owner..I have to say..the wagon does look better! :D
Ok. Don't get me wrong, I like the Legacy GT wagon as much as I like any wagon. But I have to dissagree, IMHO, about it looking better than the sedan. This is my opinion only, and not an objective review. What I like most is the "fastback" look of the legacy sedan, with the shallow rake of the rear window and c-pillars; rather than the extended and raised curvature of the roofline of the wagon. I like the window line of the sedan, it looks like an extended coupe. The quarter window angle is becoming a bit generic, but only because everyone else is using it thoughtlessly. The Legacy is such a handsome car, that it looks good with that detail. It is a shame that that particular feature bears any resemblance to ugly vehicles, such as the Chevy Impala. The legacy uses the window character line thoughtfully, because it runs a parallel angle upward to the rear deck character line. Another reason that a deck lip spoiler would look so good on this car. I am thinking a very simple thin chrome trim line would look good from the side mirror, back along the bottom of the windows, and tapering into the c-pillar angle. I think that would look good on the darker colored cars, like black, or RB. Thing is, if the legacy used a straight window line, without that c-pillar character line, people would say it looks like a camry, Mazda 6, or Audi A4 copycat, I think that would hurt the Legacy's look, dilute the design, and betray it's lineage. For a car with a name like Legacy, that would be a faux-pas. The tail lights on the sedan are small, but good looking. I have a re-design for their lamp arrangement in mind, but the shape works well. I love the headlights, especially the JDMs without the amber inserts. I don't really like the chrome bi-sected grille. a frame-less mesh grille, with a subie (and maybe an STi) badge in it would be much cleaner looking. Blacked out foglight pockets should come on all GT models, regardless of body color. The best thing about the Legacy GT: the hood scoop. It is so nicely done, it is really an addition to the car. I love it. Even if there is an STi version, there had better not be a huge scoop like the STi WRX. I'll put a gt hood back on it.

cus...i found out that it's illegal to post it..
Just as I thought! :D
yay, so I have to spend 5 minutes at the local convenient store to look at it again, but not buy the magazine  It makes no difference but it just gives you a warm fuzzy "stick it to the man" feeling.
